Given the lack of traction, lack of diversified revenue, lack of AI tools that are consumer ready - hard to imagine this is a general purpose technology. Is token prediction even AI or like a kind of augmented software.
I don't think this architecture is meaningful for either general intelligence or Agentic AI in the real world anytime soon. So what is it then? Throwing cash at an immature technology (which might forever be nascent) likely isn't the best ROI strategy.
